| Gulu,Uganda March 2nd-8th 2004 Nightfall bringing with it the fear for thousands that they will be awakened not by the morning light, but by the ghostly presence of LRA rebels, forcefully removing them from their homes. Before bedtime every night,upward of 13,000 children leave their homes and walk various distances to the town of Gulu,where they will sleep in shelters set up by local and international groups.These measures are all the children of Northern Uganda have to take,in order to avoid being abducted and made to join The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).The LRA's brutal methods have caused hundreds of thousands of Northern Uganda's people to become displaced.The children are under the protection of the guards employed by the centers who then allow them to leave at dawn.At which time the kids make their long journey home.During their overnight stay,some of the shelters run lessons (both academic and biblical) teach songs and show movies.Though space is very limited,the children are never turned away. 乌干达，古卢 ，2004年3月2-8日夜幕降临了，给数千人带来的是一种恐惧，他们不是害怕被晨光唤醒，而是害怕圣主抵抗军幽灵般的出现，将他们逐出家园。每个夜晚睡觉之前，超过1万3前名儿童离开他们的家园，步行不同的距离来到古卢，在那里他们住在当地和国际组织建立的避难所里。乌干达北部所有的儿童都必须这样做，否则他们就会被强迫加入圣主抵抗军。圣主抵抗军野蛮的做法迫使乌干达北部成千上万人背井离乡。这些儿童在这些避难所有卫兵保护，黎明时分才会离开回到自己的家。夜晚，一些避难所会给孩子们上课（既有学术的，也有圣经的），教他们唱歌，给他们放电影。虽然空间有限，孩子们从没有被禁止入内。 |
